Higher-Powered Leadership
(Organization Level)
I take a spiritual (not religious) approach to leadership and organizational development.
Spiritual Intelligence is essential for personal, professional, and organizational growth. Identified as the fourth type of intelligence after physical, intellectual, and emotional intelligence, it is critical to providing truly effective leadership in a fast-paced, constantly changing, unpredictable environment.
Spiritual Intelligence (SQ) is defined by researcher and writer Cindy Wigglesworth as: “The ability to behave with wisdom and compassion while maintaining inner and outer peace regardless of the situation.”
The initial focus of the work I do with leaders is to increase self-awareness. My emphasis is on helping them make wise choices to ensure their decisions and actions and are aligned with their own personal values and those of the organization so they get the desired results.
In addition, if employees feel connected to their passion and purpose, they will be more engaged and more productive. Happier individuals make innovative, cohesive, and highly productive teams which contribute to talent retention and accelerates positive organizational growth.
As part of our work, we use the guiding principles of The 21 Skills of Spiritual Intelligence, by Cindy Wigglesworth in addition to The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® by Kouzes and Posner, authors of The Leadership Challenge, among others.
Executive Coaching (Individuals, Executive Teams, and Entrepreneurs)
I coach mid and senior-level managers, including V-level, C-level, and small business owners to better manage and lead their people, deal proactively and successfully with change, and handle stressful environments.
I also work with organizations that wish to shift their culture from one of internal competition, low morale, and compromised effectiveness to a culture that champions individual empowerment, team collaboration, and a cohesive, healthy, productive organization.
I can be hired privately by professional individuals (outside of their employer) who want to invest in improving their interpersonal and management skills and overall job performance to increase their potential for promotions to higher level management positions.
